As per reports in various Korean media outlets, the employee went on to access Kim Namjoon’s ticket information and also other details such as his address, number, etc. In addition, reports have it that she has been doing this since 2019 and as an IT employee, she was able to do so.
Though there is no response from RM in all of this, Korail’s statement on the matter reads, “We confirmed ‘A’ accessed personal information without permission, but it has not been confirmed that ‘A’ leaked the information outside the company.”
As for the employee who is now suspended, she told SBS 8 news, “I accessed it simply out of curiosity, and I’ll be reflecting on myself.”

Not the first time an information leak has happened
For the unversed, a similar incident happened with Namjoon earlier when in January, soon after he visited the Hwaeomsa Temple in Mount Jirisan, the chief monk at the temple spoke about him in various articles while highlighting how RM has been donating 500 bags every year to Good World Charity Bank, a children’s relief organization headed by the head of the Hwaeomsa Temple, Venerable Deokmun.
